Throughout these terms, ‘I‘ refers to the artist, and ‘you‘ refers to the client commissioning the work.
All commissions include a Personal Use License by default. Enhanced licensing for commercial or exclusive use is available for an additional fee.
Personal Use (Included)
You receive the high-resolution final animation for your personal enjoyment.
- Artist Rights: I retain the full copyright. I reserve the right to share the final work, process sketches, and “making-of” content on my social media and subscription platforms (e.g., Patreon/Fanbox).
- Workflow Reuse: I may reuse non-character-specific elements of the project (such as composition layouts or rough storyboards) as templates or references for future projects.
Privacy / Exclusive (+15% fee)
Ideal for clients who want to keep the “behind-the-scenes” private.
- The Agreement: I will not post high-res files, layered sources, or process “work-in-progress” to my paid subscription tiers.
- Publicity: The work remains exclusive to you, though I may still share the final version in my public portfolio with clear credit to you as the commissioner.
Commercial License (+25% fee)
Required if the artwork will be used for profit-generating ventures.
- Usage: Grants you the right to use the work for monetized channels (YouTube/Twitch), subscription-based platforms (Patreon/Fanbox), crowdfunding campaigns (Kickstarter/IndieGoGo), indie games, merchandise, or promotional advertising.
- Publicity: I retain the right to display a preview or watermarked version of the final work in my professional portfolio and demo reels to showcase my experience.
Full Buyout (+100% fee)
The “Total Ownership” tier. This is a complete transfer of the Intellectual Property (IP).
- Ghost Artist Clause: I will not post the artwork to my portfolio or social media without your express written permission.
- Copyright Transfer: I formally assign all copyright and ownership to you. You have the unrestricted right to edit, modify, or resell the artwork as you see fit.
- Creative Lockdown: I will not reuse any part of this project (including the storyboards, keyframe layouts, or rough animation frames) for any other client or personal work. It is a “clean break” from my library.
